300 Hour Service

Full 100 HR service, plus the wear items that quietly fail at sea.

Den members save 10%
Turnaround:1–2 days per engine
Pricing:Single-engine packages start around $850 + parts

The 300 is the service people skip — and the one that bites. Impellers, thermostats, and zincs don't fail on a schedule you can see from the helm.

Everything in the 100, plus the wear items that quietly cook a powerhead: water pump impeller, thermostats, sacrificial anodes, lower unit oil change with magnetic-plug inspection, throttle and shift cable check, and a compression test across all cylinders.

Salt water in the Indian River and inlet runs out of Sebastian Inlet are brutal on cooling systems. A $40 impeller skipped at 300 hours is a $9,000 powerhead at 320.

We document the impeller condition with photos before and after — you'll see exactly what your cooling system has been pushing through.

Pricing

Skipping the 300 is the #1 cause of overheats we tow in. Don't be that guy.

How it works

  1. 1. Drop off or schedule pickup

Trailer it to the shop in Vero, or we'll grab it from Sebastian to Ft. Pierce to Melbourne. Slips and ramps welcome.

  2. 2. Diagnostic & written quote

Hours logged, factory diagnostic run, every finding photographed. You get a written quote before anything gets touched.

  3. 3. Work performed by factory-trained techs

OEM parts, tinned wire, torqued to spec. Every part replaced is photographed and saved to your boat file.

  4. 4. Sea trial & handoff

We confirm the fix on the water, scan the computer post-service, and walk you through the report at pickup.

FAQ

+What if my impeller looks bad early?

Photos go to your file and we call you. If we recommend the 300 early, we'll tell you exactly why.

+Is the 300 worth it on a freshwater-only boat?

Yes — impellers age by hours and heat cycles, not just salt. Skip it and you risk a powerhead.

+Can you do this at my slip?

300 service we want in the shop — proper water-test setup matters. We'll pick up and return.
