Tier 1 β€” Tropical Storm watch

  • Strip canvas, towers, and loose gear
  • Pull batteries out of small boats
  • Add extra dock lines, double-up at chafe points
  • Top off fuel β€” empty tanks condense water

Tier 2 β€” Hurricane watch (Cat 1-2 forecast)

  • Pull and trailer if you can
  • If wet-slipped: cross lines, fenders, monitor
  • Bring all electronics inside
  • Photograph the boat for insurance

Tier 3 β€” Major hurricane (Cat 3+)

  • Get it off the water. Wet slips don't survive a 3.
  • Reserve hurricane storage and blocking with us EARLY
  • Strap to dedicated hurricane tie-down points
  • Check insurance hurricane plan / haul-out reimbursement
